We the tribesmen are very passionate about Mojo. And we take pride in saying "We dont have the herd mentality". We are the biking brotherhood. A big shout out to our Bikerni - Sneha Kulkarni.
Here is an exclusive interview:
Hi Sneha! So whats your story?
Operations Manager - working with MNC, love traveling - meeting people - foodie. Road trips, nature & people is what makes me happy and keeps me going - it's like a new lease of after every trip.![]() |
"2nd Longest Ride to Coorg" |
They say 4 Wheels Move Your Body and Two wheels Move Your Soul! What was the trigger for you to travel especially on a two wheeler?
I'm the happiest when I'm traveling to see places especially unexplored by normal tourists. So, although I love drives, rides with my #Logan (my Mahindra Mojo) is what I enjoy more as you can detour and explore places that you would otherwise miss. Also more importantly my husband Sachindraa has been great influence in me developing this passion. He's been a bike / ride enthusiast since he was a kid - I'm so glad that I could catch up on his passion and we all know "Couples who ride together stay together!"
Why Mojo? In your opinion, What is unique in Mojo that is not available in other bikes?
"When #Logan completed 15k ..."
There's not just one thing, there are so many ... I'll start with ergonomics - the seating posture is such that you wouldn't feel fatigued despite long rides or treacherous rides. Not just for the rider but for the pillion as well. Performance - well if you haven't heard of a bike that can work magic in all kinds of terrains then you should go in for Mahindra Mojo - shox, suspension, ground clearance, power ... well the list goes on. Icing on the cake is 20ltr fuel tank. In my opinion you cannot get anything close to Mojo in the price that you get a Mojo.
Tell us about your first journey.
My first long journey was to Yercaud from Bangalore. My riding experience was just about 2-3 short rides near Bangalore prior to this one. But thanks to Mojo, I felt like a pro and could even do twisties in my first ride. This trip will always remain special to me as I got to connect with #Logan during this trip. What is the longest journey you have done? What was your take away?
"The happiness of conquering 70th hair pin bend enroute Kolli Hills"
With just 4 months of riding experience behind me, I mustered the courage to sign up for Leh-Ladakh trip during 2017 July. This as an expedition organised by Mahindra Mojo team. Lead by Sarath Shenoy, Anish Thakkar & Hemanth Bisht - the journey encompassed 2400kms starting from Chandigarh and going through Kashmir - Ladakh - Himachal Pradesh and back to Chandigarh. It was well planned and executed. The best combination of Adventure + luxury. Kudos to Mahindra Mojo team! I made some friends for life during this trip. What made it comfortable and special was Mojo! If not for Mojo, I'm not sure if I would have done it at all. I wish Mahindra starts back these expeditions.
Women biker community seems to grow at a steady pace. what is your take?
"On the way to Taglang La"
Yes, it's rapidly growing in my view. The acceptance is growing. There has been a gender bias historically that motorcycle is a man thing and it was stereotyped that women that are passionate about riding are less of women and tom boyish. That's slowly changing. I am so happy when I see father's wanting their daughters to ride and they go on expeditions together. There are male spouses that encourage their better half to pursue their interest of riding. Then there are mother's & sisters that are proud of their daughter or sister riding. But we've still got a lot of them out there that want to ride, but are not able because of several reasons and Bikerni family is playing a big role in making that happen.
What is your advice to the wannabe bikerni's?
Just get on with it ... No ifs & buts - Just throttle it out!!! Be confident & be safe!We know riding is your passion. What are your other interests and hobbies?
"Climbed Rocky hills to catch this view on Thimmappna betta"
Socialising with friends & family, cooking, music & spending time with Bruno (our Golden Retriever)
Can you enlighten us about the bikerni rides organised every year?
Bikerni has a team a very capable leads called as a Core Team. The Core schedule a mix of rides such as Breakfast Ride, Day Ride & Overnight Rides every month. There are mega rides every year - these are rides to Rajasthan, Leh, Sikkim etc. There's also a mega event every year to celebrate forming of Bikerni Bengaluru.![]() |

It's good to hear positive vibes about a machine you own and ride, that too from a bikerni! Really great.
